One of the best things about visiting or living in Fort Wayne, Indiana is that there is so much to do – all year round! Below we’re going to share a few of our favorite annual events that you must check out! Read on to learn about the best festivals and events the Fort Wayne area has to offer.
The Fort Wayne Music Festival
Coming up in May of 2021 this Festival is bringing the all the throwbacks, all the country, and the best rock and roll all on the river. Music lovers are not going to want to miss this!
Also coming up in May of 2021 is the Cherry Blossom Festival. If you have a love for Japan culture, then you’re going to want to see this! Get ready to experience and explore the fine arts of the Japanese culture right here at the Allen County Public Library in downtown Fort Wayne.
In June of 2021 Fort Wayne is having their annual Arab Fest and German Fest. Headwaters Park hosts the annual Arab fest which celebrates the heritage of our Arab community. At German Fest you can get ready to eat, drink, and dance the week away at a week-long festival, also hosted at Headwaters Park.
New Haven Canal Days will also be held in June of 2021 where there will be a parade and all types of annual festivities to take part in.
The month of August holds the beloved annual BBQ Ribfest which is a Fort Wayne favorite! Who doesn’t love a variety of tasty BBQ and an atmosphere to enjoy it in?
One of the biggest music festivals you’ll see here is Middle Waves which is also coming up in 2021. You’ll see acts from local favorites to national headliners and we assure you that you will not be disappointed.
We can’t forget to mention Sweetwater Gearfest, Greekfest, and Buskerfest! You’ll want to bring the whole family out to enjoy the custom cuisines, music, and street performers.
Sound like a lot of festivities? We’re really only scratching the surface. There’s also the Three Rivers Festival, St Joe Pickle Festival, Allen County Fair, as well as the Hobnobben Film Festival.
